SCHEDULE FOR EVERY RACE ... 9:00 AM SIGN UPS - Pick your approximate ride time- This is first come first serve basis... Pre- Entries taken with Pre Payment Only.. 10:30 AM All Entrants / All Divisions will walk the course and Q & A ( don't be late). If you miss this part...you will be missing out on valuable information !!! 11:00 AM The Race will begin! Day End Ribbons and BBQ after every Race! $25 entry $15 Horse Rental (this is PER RIDE-no IHR horse may do more than 3 runs/day) $5 Option to Jackpot Your Class (go for it!) with 50% payback on the Jackpot Day End Ribbons at Every Race, Day End Awards TBA You must complete 4 Races to be eligible for Series End Awards. Open - ANYONE or use as a warm up class if you want-you may be surprised when your practice runs get you Series End Awards! Senior - Over 40 yrs old ...does not accept $ to teach Amateur - Does not accept $ to teach Youth Handicap Division - 18yrs and under (Junior Riders 8yrs to 12yrs - will be assigned a Handicap # at the Beginning of the year - this # will be added to their scores at every race) Make sure you and your horse are ready for this year's Cowboy Races, you never know what will be in it! What is a Cowboy Race? A cowboy race is a timed event set over several acres that includes obstacles . It is judged as well as timed. Each obstacle offers the competitor a chance to better their score. If you do your obstacles quickly and smoothly, and you will get a great score. For example, you may receive a score of 0-5 on each obstacle (0 is the worst and 5 is the best) ...you have approximately 15 obstacles (time is considered one of the obstacles)...
